Clarice Nolan
Clarice joins the ATLAS Project as an Assistive Technology Specialist with expertise in the area of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). After earning her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Ball State University, she served as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting for seven years, working with students of various backgrounds and abilities. Clarice is passionate about presuming competence while also meeting students where they are in order to help them find their voice, whatever that may look like. Though she has experience with the use and implementation of communication specific devices and visuals, she is excited to expand her knowledge to other areas of assistive technology to better serve the whole student and create a more accessible learning experience for all. Clarice also has a life-long love of dance and is currently an active performer, choreographer, and board member of a local dance company. When she isn’t rehearsing or performing , Clarice enjoys creating, organizing, and styling fashionable outfits and accessories.
