Easterseals Crossroads is excited to offer an Assistive Technology Equipment Lending Library, a no-cost service, that loans assistive technology devices, software, and resource materials to school personnel at Indiana’s Local Education Agencies (LEAs). You may request demonstrations or technical assistance to accompany the equipment available for loan. Items are shipped directly to your school for the purpose of previewing and/or trial periods with students. Items are loaned for a six-week evaluation period. If you do not see an item you would like to borrow in our catalog, please let us know.
Assistive Technology (AT) Definition:
Any: (1) item; (2) piece of equipment; or (3) product system; whether acquired commercially off the shelf, modified, or customized, that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of a student with a disability.
All equipment requests for the Lending Library must come directly from an Indiana public LEA employee, for Indiana public school students, and all materials, supplies, and equipment must remain within Indiana.
Please note the ATLAS equipment lending library is currently being inventoried, and we are unable to process equipment loan requests at this time. Once inventory is complete, we will address all loan requests promptly.

If you need additional information about an app, you can click on the Apple vendor link within the Apple Apps Catalog. Please note you can borrow an iPad with both paid and free apps. If there is an app you’re interested in that is not listed, please contact us, and we may be able to add it to our offerings.
After viewing available tools, devices and apps, you can request a loan by filling out the Library Request Form, and our team will work to fulfill your request as soon as possible.
The Lending Library follows the strictest protocol for cleaning and disinfecting all loan requests per the CDC guidelines before shipping to Indiana LEA stakeholders. Please be mindful of proper hand hygiene and device cleaning while handling loans and transferring devices and items to students.
Please Note: A short evaluation is required for each item borrowed from the Lending Library. The information you provide through the Loan Evaluation Form will help us offer better recommendations and equipment for future users and also to justify the time, effort and resources needed to maintain the Lending Library.
